CARE

Exotic Leather Care
Exotic leather are tanned using traditional methods. Slight irregularities are a natural characteristic of exotic leather and should be considered normal traits which show that your product is 100% genuine. Scales might crease and lift over time and the color will also change with age, this is to be expected. You can help your product look its best by doing the following.

Bag Care:

  1. Python and other snake skins will absorb everything so try not to spill any liquid on your bag. Avoid using your handbag on a rainy day as natural leather can become water damaged and darken in color. If python skin gets wet, just let it dry naturally. DO NOT use anything like a hair dryer for drying.
  2. If your bag gets dirty, clean it gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth in the direction of the scales. We do not recommend the use of leather cleaners because they might darken or damage the skin unless they are designed specifically for python leather. If using a conditioner test on a small area first.
  3. DO NOT store your snake skin handbag in plastic, python skins should "breath". When not in use keep your bag in the protective dust bag that was included with your purchase. When storing for extended periods of time keep some paper in the bag to save the form, (do not over stuff). Always avoid storing in hot and humid storage areas.
  4. DO NOT leave your bag in direct sunlight for extended periods of time, the sunlight can eventually lighten and dry your bag.
  5. With proper care, your python handbag will look new for many years.

Bracelet Care:

  1. Most bracelets have been treated to be water resistant but some have not. If your bracelet skin gets wet, let it dry naturally. DO NOT use anything like a hairdryer for drying.
  2. If the skin gets dirty, clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth in the direction of the scales. Do not use leather cleaners or conditioners.
  3. Cuff will adjust for different sizes and over time brass will get darker or discolor. Metal polish and a microfiber cloth will restore a like-new shine. Be careful, polish will stain exotic leather.
  4. When not in use keep your bracelet in the original box and avoid storing in hot, humid areas.
